Music video. There’s something of a deeply spiritual and out-of-body feel to the song itself with its unique soundscapes paired with Staples’ meditative vocal delivery, and the video enhances all of this to create a vivid sensory experience.

Director: Allen Kaeja

Producer: Natasha Lan

DOP: Olya Glotka

Dance Film. Created for the city of Mississauga and produced by Natasha Lan, this curatorial intervention considers what it feels like to not belong.
Migration stories cannot be categorized or reduced. Stories are lived experience - invisible armour. Stories move - they are our agency, the vehicle that propel us. Pulse contends with the disclosure of concealed and systemic forms of oppression - from micro aggressions to policy for appearance-sake.
